-- Deviant Animals

Sexual assault is one of the most heinous crimes in nature. We speak about it mostly in reference to humans but does it also happen outside of the human realm? You would be surprised to find that there are many types of creatures that think no means yes and yes means please. Join us as we have a look at some creatures that give no cares.. and commit sexual assault.

Chimps

Harambe wasn’t the only primate who never learned the difference between good touch and bad touch. Lets start with what science believes to be our closest relatives, the chimpanzee. Since our DNA only differs by about 4 percent it might be naïve to think that sexual assault would be one of the divergences.

Otters

If there were ever a species to lose faith in aside from humans it would most definitely be otters. Otters, despite their cute and cuddly exterior are actually manipulative sexual deviants and rapists. In addition to being cute male otters enjoy the desecration of the nether regions of baby otters. Male otters do this to simulate the mating rituals that they perform with female otters.

Bottlenose Dolphins

Bottlenose Dolphins are one of the most well documented species in the category of sexual coercion. A few years ago scientists in California began noticing that there was an increase in dead porpoises a long the coastline. Upon examining the bodies of these porpoises scientists began to notices signs of bottlenose dolphin attacks.

Adelie Penguin

It seems that there is a significant correlation between an animal’s cuteness and their propensity to engage in sexual assault. Maybe that is why dogs try to hump everything they find. Maybe that is why Adelie Penguins are like waddling, sexually deviant gentries from the 17th century.

Ducks

No we are not talking about the Oregon football team but would anyone know the difference. This is by far one of the most uncomfortable rapists of the animal kingdom. Male ducks have shown a history of sexual coercion with an alarmingly high success rate. Some ducks have even been reported to engage in gang rape like the dolphin to the porpoise. So what makes the duck so efficient in their sexual assault?

White-Fronted Bee Eaters

At least you don’t have a clue what this bird is so there is no chance of us ruining your opinion of it. The white-fronted bee-eater is a species of bee eating bird that can be found in sub-equatorial Africa. These birds are known for nesting in colonies with populations of over 200 individuals.

Elephant Seal

It seems that in the animal kingdom many rapes stem from sexual frustration and lack of available mates and it is no different for the elephant seal. The elephant seal is one of the most interesting sexual deviants of the animal kingdom because it seems that it does not have one particular species that it likes to assault.

Water Beetles

Last but not least we must address rape among the invertebrates also known as traumatic insemination or hypodermic insemination. The Acilius genus of water beetles is known to engage in this practice of traumatic insemination. In the case of the water beetles the male beetle will attempt to suffocate the female beetle into exhaustion so he may plant his seed.
